Reporting to the Southern Cluster - Customer Marketing Director, the Associate Manager Customer Marketing is a key player in driving category and relative brands growth in Italy.
In this role, you will be responsible for achieving Net Sales and Market Shares targets for the assigned category. You will be also responsible for translating Regional & Country Group Category Strategies into local plans, by partnering with Sales to ensure execution of agreed plans in the local market.You will be also implementing Consumer and Trade Promotions including Special Packs.

Responsible to delivering Net Sales and Market Share targets for assigned categories in Italy
Oversees local tracking of categories, distribution, promotions performance and input relevant recommendation to achieve the business objectives
Input into the Corplan process (Annual Budget)
Translate the Regional Category Strategy into local plans
Manage the Equity Consumer Promotions budget
Manage product portfolio levers (assortment, pricing, promo and distribution)
Manage artwork development/local adaptation
Strong input to Region on business opportunities
Own Step 1 (local part of the MAR meeting) and provide directions for a proper monthly forecasting in collaboration with Demand Planners team
Actively contribute to relevant meetings of the S&OP cycle (Demand, SMR) & Sales meeting
Manage Consumer and Trade Promotion plans, including Special Packs/Promotional Packs
Manage in collaboration with Regional team both the Media Brief and the Media plan for their assigned categories
Develop Special Pack plans aligned with the Regional Promo Catalogue
Develop Trade Presentations leveraging Regional materials
Develop POP and other marketing & sales materials for the Categories/Segments assigned
Implement CTL workshops developed by the Regional team
Identify synergies for the SCG (Southern Cluster Group) to drive efficiencies & simplify the business
Work closely with the Italian country group team
Coach and Develop one direct report (Intern, Associate and Sr. Associate, Customer Marketing)
Managing the relationship with suppliers and other partners (cooperation with regional and local partners)
University degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or similar and a Business Master degree will be considered a competitive advantage
Solid Commercial background with minimum 8 years in Commercial roles (ideally a combination of Customer Marketing / Marketing and Sales experience) in a multinational FCMG company
Minimum 2 years’ experience with managing teams
Fluent in Italian and English
Experience using market data (e.g. AC Nielsen) desirable
Strong communicator and team worker, able to build relationships at all levels and across function
Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and prioritize
Willingness & ability to drive for outstanding results with high level of initiative and speed
Strong analytical skills with good problem-solving skills as well as having attention to details
High level of autonomy by demonstrating dynamism and curiosity
Strong interest in an international career development path, fully mobile
Good skills with Excel and other MS Office applications
