Role summary:

As the Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for executing the SCJ strategy in collaboration with a set of customers/stores to achieve sales, profit, distribution, promotion, and merchandising objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing a set of customers (key retailers) and achieve pre-defined sales, profit and distribution targets.

  • Mapping new opportunities with existing customers and creating, executing plans to utilize them

  • Building and developing business relationships with customers, preparation for yearly trade term negotiations.

  • Active participation in category management projects (preparation, execution)

  • Monitoring competitor activities at her/his customers, sharing relevant information with sales management and customer marketing.

  • Continuous self-development in business acumen in order to prove expertise to the customers

  • Cooperation with other functions (supply chain, invoicing, customer marketing etc) in order to provide a consistent, good service for the customers.

  • Execution of new product launches at her/his customers, while achieving sales targets, keeping budget and deadlines for on-shelf presence

  • Striving for maximized promotion efficiency and preparing evaluation after promotions

  • Striving for maximized product distribution

  • Execution of purchase price increase

  • Managing and keeping Trade Spending

  • Maintain and development of SCJ shelf-shares in cooperation with Field Sales Force

  • Optimizing stock level at customers in order to avoid out-of-stock on shelves

  • Responsible for managing of deductions, pending invoices at her/his customers in cooperation with relevant functions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree ideally in a business-related subject

  • Strong experience in key account management (at least 3 years)

  • Understanding and knowledge of the Hungarian retail environment

  • Understanding of sales, marketing, market research

  • Understanding of different logistics systems

  • Understanding of P&L

  • Ability to build effective relationships within and outside of the organization

  • Strong negotiation skills & strong analytical skills

  • English at a proficient level, native Hungarian
