Associate Brand Manager, Home Cleaning

This Associate Manager, Marketing Commercialization Home Cleaning is in SCJ’s North America Marketing Commercialization Home Cleaning (Windex). In this role, you will be accountable for driving marketing business results with focus on financials, growing market share and managing elements of the media and base news/New Product Development plans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Home Cleaning topline and share metrics
  • Guide strategic media planning and tactical evaluation of media spend
  • Manage project timelines around base and NPD news in conjunction with Commercialization partners and Global team
  • Collaborate with Global teams to influence long term pipeline of innovation (base news, claims, NPD)
  • Provide analysis in support of strategy development. Execute day-to-day responsibilities against business priorities that best align with the strategy
  • Understand consumer and shopper insights that drive segment priorities. Execute analysis and make conclusions/recommendations to support business initiatives and priorities
  • Provide analytical support and input into packaging briefs and CAB development. Support product package changes and communication execution of tactics within non-TV channels
  • Understand fundamentals around managing the business P&L
  • Demonstrate understanding of SCJ’s customers – including brick and mortar vs Ecomm - and their relative importance of each other to the division and to North America.
  • Remove barriers by focusing on priorities, making timely decisions, and collaborating with cross functional partners
  • Acknowledge tradeoffs, take appropriate risks, and own all outcomes good or bad

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant business experience OR advanced degree and a minimum of 3+ years of relevant business experience
  • Must be authorized to work in the US

  • Working on cross-functional team
  • Proven project leadership capability and propensity to grow within brand management roles
  • Analytic capabilities (data mining, insight generation, communicating findings and recommendations verbally and in writing)
  • Strong ability to multi-task across job requirements
  • Proven success as a Marketing Assistant or 2+ years of external brand management experience
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Strong commercial experience and successful wiring to DO the work and INFLUENCE stakeholders
  • Leading cross-functional teams, with the ability to provide key project updates to senior leadership
  • Consumer-first mindset that can be translated into internal and external facing narratives
  • Understand fundamentals around managing the business P&L
  • Acknowledge tradeoffs, take appropriate risks, and own all outcomes good or bad
