Associate Manager, Brand

This Associate Manager, Brand is dedicated todevelopment of one of our SCJ legacy brands within the North America Marketing CommercializationThis position is accountable forall facets of Commercial Marketing – launching new items in market, developing riveting campaigns and setting the vision within NA for long term strategic growth. It entailsdriving business results with focus on financials, growing market share,anticipating competitive response, crafting the Omni support strategy, and shaping the NPD pipeline with Global.This position will also overseespecial projects as it relates to total Commercial team.

Essential Duties andResponsibilities:

  • Build and execute the strategy forSCJ Brand, and lead key updates for both US and Global leadership

  • Lead collaboration with customer marketing in preparation for key customer meetings and trade windows. Lead collaboration with product supply to ensure flawlessnew productlaunches

  • Lead criticalinternal business processes: S&OP, Share Review, etc., providing insights and actions to address problems to solve 

  • Collaborate with Global teams to influence long term pipeline of growth and communication support

  • Monitor competitive trends in the market and anticipate competitive response to our launch.

  • Execute day-to-day responsibilities against business priorities that best align with the strategy

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

  • Must be Bachelorsdegree and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant business experience OR advanced degree and a minimum of 3+ years of relevant business experienceor military experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement

PreferredSkills / Experience / Competencies: 

  • Strong commercial experience (especiallywith new item launches) and successful wiring to DO the work and INFLUENCE stakeholders

  • Leadingcross-functional teams, with the ability to provide key project updates to senior leadership

  • Consumer-first mindset that can be translated into internal and external facing narratives

  • Ability to build strong working relationships.Promote collaboration by valuing others and building trust‐based relationships

  • Passion for innovation

  • High sense of urgency

  • Understand fundamentals around managing the business P&L 

  • Demonstrate a general understanding of SCJ’s customers/channels and their relative importance of each other to the division and to North America.

  • Remove barriers by focusing on priorities, making timely decisions, and maximizing empowerment

  • Acknowledge tradeoffs, take appropriate risks, and own all outcomes good or bad

  • Passionately deliver winning results individually and through others

  • Approach situations and processes with curiosity and open‐mindedness while applying new learnings
