Associate Manager, Commercial Capabilities & Operations (BOS Continuous)

Summary:

This Associate Manager – Brand Operating  System (BOS) Continuous role is focused on raising the capability level of marketers worldwide to leverage BOS Continuous processes to build brands locally and grow market share. This role reports to the Manager of BOS and focuses on these responsibilities:

  • Expert on Continuous processes within the Brand Operating System (BOS)
  • Expert on how to use the BOS management system to execute Continuous processes
  • Partners with Learning & Development on change management and on-going learning agenda
  • Provides business use end-user support/coaching on effective execution of Continuous as an operating model and the use of the system
  • Drives ongoing improvement of Continuous phase based on analysis from reporting, tracking, compliance and from user input
  • Business interface with BPT (Technology team) for fixes, improvements or additions to Continuous processes

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Quickly build expert knowledge of BOS Continuous processes and workflows
  • User Management
    • Drive adoption and capability of Continuous processes in all cluster
    • Leader of Continuous in the BOS Champions Network; driving improvement via the network
    • Ensure the right people have the right roles to perform Continuous workflows
    • Manage Continuous process SLAs, process escalations; task reassignment activities for all Continuous workflows.
  • Analytics and Optimization
    • Identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and compliance related to Continuous
    • Monitor key metrics and run reports to track process progress of Continuous and wire with organization to keep on service level agreement (SLA)
  • Interface with Business & BPT
    • With Business to qualify new or revised business requirements
    • With BPT (Workflow Factory) to help solve business user issues, address minor enhancements opportunities

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Cluster level (Local) marketing experience is highly preferred
  • Bachelors degree in business management or related discipline required, advanced degree preferred
  • 7+ years of related professional experience required, or 5+ years with advanced degree, including 2-4 years of brand management experience
  • Exposure to Global marketing is preferred
  • Cross-functional team experience is advantageous

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Cluster level (Local) marketing experience is highly preferred, including an understanding of equity marketing activities at the cluster level.
  • Exposure to Global marketing is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Experience with the BOS operating model at the cluster level
  • Experience or exposure to the current BOS Mgmt System (BMS) that is in development is preferred
  • Demonstrated success in participating on cross-functional teams and influencing outcomes
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High sense of urgency
  • Passion for making a difference and helping the broader team win
  • Masters complexity quickly and is adept at explaining complexity to others
  • A collaborative problem-solver

Job Requirements:

  • Full-time position
  • International travel is not expected, 10% or less is possible
