This Associate Manager, Marketing Commercialization, Pest Control is on SCJ’s North America Marketing Commercialization Pest Control Team and reports to the Brand Manager of US Marketing Commercialization Pest Control. You will be responsible for leading the day-to-day OFF! Business, and accountable for translating Global strategies into locally relevant go-to-market plans. You will also be responsible for sales and operating planning and share reporting for the OFF! business, as well as launching new products, implementing portfolio restages and executing marketing campaigns to grow the business profitability while gaining share and strengthening the brand equity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide analysis of the state of the business and future trends to feed into the strategy development and support managing the business. Execute day-to-day responsibilities against the priorities that best align with the strategy
Lead share reporting and own sales and operating planning process for OFF! US business
Lead key projects and initiatives for the OFF! Personal Repellents business, providing insights and actions to address problems to solve
Understand fundamentals around managing the business P&L
Collaborate with the Global and U.S. Cross-Functional Teams in executing projects, with co-responsibility on SCJ End-to-End process
Manage project criteria, ensure cross functional team members are aligned to and meeting milestones
Understand and proactively seek for learnings on consumer and shopper insights that drive segment priorities. Execute analysis and make conclusions/recommendations to support business initiatives and priorities
Provide analytical support and input into packaging briefs and CAB development. Collaborate with the Global Team in developing the Global Toolkits. Recommend and lead, with the support of the Manager, breakthrough national marketing activations
Begin building a general understanding of SCJ’s customers and their relative importance of each other to the division and to North America
Support Customer Marketing in developing customer-specific activations
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
5+ years of Marketing experience and an undergraduate degree OR 3+ years of Marketing experience with an advanced degree required
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Strong interest in CPG industry
Working on cross-functional team
Ability to build strong working relationships
Passion for innovation
Prior experience in the CPG industry
High sense of urgency
Proven project leadership capability and propensity to grow within brand management and other commercial roles (including sales, customer marketing, and shopper marketing roles)
