Associate Manager, Supply Planning, Network Capabilities

Manage and Lead North America Network Capabilities (Throughput & Working Capital) rituals and routines. Maintain continuity cross functionally (Finance, Manufacturing, Planning, Warehousing, Transportation and Customer Supply Chain) while proactively identifying and communicating NA Network Constraints/Inventory Reduction Opportunities. Ensure NA adheres or improves on Month to Month Inventory turn targets. Continuous improvement mindset in planning processes and usage/creation of data visualization/exception-based tools. Work effectively with North America planning and cross functional teams to decrease working capital and increase service (OTIF).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ownership and Accountability of North America Network and Inventory  

2. Facilitate budget setting, maintenance and governance 

3. Support NA Planning rituals and routines to deliver KPIs

              A. Daily Network Capacity Meeting 

              B. Weekly Business Unit Inventory Huddles

              C. Weekly touchpoint with Write Off and Secondary Market Execution

              D. Drive Weekly NA Inventory Meeting

              E. Monthly PSEC execution

              F. Monthly Supply Chain Losses alignment

              G. Quarterly Safety Stock Reviews

              H. Quarterly Minimum Order Quantity Reviews 

4. Ensure planning excellence in support of the end to end supply chain operations

5. Lead adaptability knowledge around external factors (Consumer Behavior, Economic Instability, etc.)

6. Ensure we’re reducing Supply Chain costs to fuel investment back into the business 

7. Deliver consumer value through execution excellence 

Key Competencies:

Robust understanding of E2E supply chain and implications of planning’s decisions cross functionally Extensive knowledge of SAP, APO, ECC and sub-modules

• Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PPDS)

• Supply Network Planning (SNP)

• Demand Planning

• Master Data & Core Interface (CIF)

• SAP BW (Data Warehouse)

Ability to coach, lead and teach individuals/teams to outperform expectations

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

1. University/Bachelor Degree in related field, e.g., Engineering, Supply Chain Mgmt., Business Administration, Information Technology

2. Demonstrated planning capabilities (MRP/MPS/DRP); minimum 5 years’ experience

3. Supply Chain/business aptitude; minimum 5 years’ experience

4. Management or leadership experience; 1 – 2 years

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

1. Experience in the CPG industry and demonstrated knowledge in the Global Supply Chain 

2. Advanced communication skills

3. Demonstrated ability to lead individuals/teams in achieving improved results
