As the Modern Trade Manager, you will be responsible to lead the full-service distributor to develop business and organization in modern trade channel including local and global accounts. You are required to deliver profitable sales growth, building value share and improving spending effectiveness in the channel.
The internal job title for this role is Associate Manager, Retail Account Management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the full-service distributor Modern Trade (MT) team to deliver budget commitments for MT Channel with strategic thought leadership
- Establish and maintain favorable business relationship with major customers through fact-based category solutions that help them win the market place with the intent of driving MT growth
- Collaborate with distributor team and customer marketing to develop annual promotional plans for all customers in the MT Channel
- Building sales fundamentals to be accountable to lead the distributor MT team to develop plan, sell to customer and deliver improvement on distribution of key Stock Keeping Unit (SKUs)
- Collaborate with the distributor MT team to provide in-depth analysis of account level category / segment performance using multiple data sources and synthesize these data into actions
- Building standard operations with the distributor and driving continuous improvement in MT channel
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
- Bachelor’s in Business, Economic, or related field
- At least 4 to 5 years MT Channel experience in relevant position in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
- Experience in trade marketing and managing distributors will be an additional advantage
- Has strong in leadership, communication, selling and making decision with data
