About the role:

If you are a people centered, values led HR manager this could be the role for you. You will be tasked with overseeing HR operations and initiatives for our manufacturing facility and offices based in Malle and Brecht in Belgium. People and culture are our secret sauce here at LSB and you will ensure we have a strong and compelling people plan locally - delivering solutions that help build a winning team and culture. This is a strategic leadership position acting as a core part of the Belgian leadership team whilst directly responsible for three P&E team members based in Malle.

What we expect from you:

Business Partnering - act a key member of the Belgian leadership team

Define the employee experience for our Belgian teams both in our office and factory inspired by our office and culture

Work with local people leaders on the their organization design

Team management - Manage and develop the Belgian P&E team

Create a culture of feedback and continuous improvement

Employee relations and Communications

Review + Lead P&E Initiatives with our works council and unions

Provide advice on all employment matters and directly manage sensitive cases that may arise

Belgian P&E Operations

Oversee reward and benefits locally including health pension and car policy

Oversee all aspects of payroll and benefits administration locally ( in partnership with EU payroll manager + external partners)

Lead and support people engagement initiatives

Must be/have:

Degree educated with the relevant HR qualifications

Significant experience within consumer facing industries

Proven team leadership experience

Relevant experience in a similar human resources role.

Technical strength in full talent management lifecycle (performance management, talent development and reward and management)

Deep and broad human resources experience in environments that have included blue collar workers

Experience building and maintaining positive relationships with the health and safety committee trades unions and works councils

Sense of humour, a positive outlook with a “can-do” attitude!
