Logistics Operations Analyst

This role is a Fixed Term Contract until end of June 2022


  • You will manage the system integrity of SCJ/logistics service providers (LSP's) & enables the business to monitor its logistical spend vs. budget. The LOA will report to Associate Manager, Logistics Operation
  • This function supports the operations by ensuring compliance of the LSP to the business requirements and to manage the B2B inventory accuracy at LSPs and support SPS with re-packer’s to meet budget KPIs
  • Gather operational metrics from LSPs and apply Lean principles to deliver root-cause analysis
  • Drive Master Data accuracy
  • Support day to day management of warehousing and transport activity, implementing risk mitigation plans
  • Deliver cost savings through sustainable continuous improvement and the ongoing challenge of the logistics cost base.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory Accuracy, including book to book reconciliation (SAP/Logistics provider’s WMS), coordination and audit of cycle and stock counts.
  • Drive Inventory management (stock take, quality, expire date, DG, compliance, obsolete, returns) to meet country group targets and SCJ standards
  • Drive Master Data accuracy
  • Analyze and solve day to day operational and system problems involving inventory variances, receipt discrepancies, returns, obsolete damage, custom pallets, confirmations, past dues, and unfilled orders Inventory management.
  • Partner with customer fulfillment team, customer finance, local sales, supply planning and LSPs to solve day to day logistics operational issues. First internal escalation point for Secondary Freight day to day service issues
  • First internal escalation point for quality /GEN23 issues
  • Control and manage returns + refusals, including seasonal products.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Fluent in speaking, writing, and reading English with additional EU languages i.e. French, Spanish or German would be a competitive advantage
  • University degree in Logistics, Economics or Industrial Management Engineering
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with financial acumen
  • Advance skills in Excel, VBA scripting/Power Query.
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC - Production
  • Eager to learn and to work in a regional Logistics Team
  • Strong interest for Logistics and Supply Chain learning.
  • Strong Team player
  • Strong interest in international career development path, fully mobile
