Graphic Shared Services – Regional Associate Manager

The Graphics Shared Services (GrSS) Regional Associate Manager manages the local graphics adaption processes for a single region through a distributed team of Local Graphics Specialists (LGS), 4-7 people, some of whom are contractors and some of whom are full time employees.

This role is accountable for timely and accurate adaption of specific labels and shippers from the global graphics packet that represent the global graphic intent. This role is also accountable for the continuous improvement of the local graphic processes to reduce workload, improve quality, and improve speed within their region. This role will also manage translation services for the region they represent.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

GrSS Regional Associate Manager will lead a regional team and be accountable for:

  • Best in class execution of local label and shipper creation
    • Responsible for Regional production metrics (FFU, RTFT, Reloops, Cycle time)
    • Accountable for the completeness of Local Master Text in the PIM system
    • Ensures local graphic requirements are incorporated into local labels and shippers
    • Acts as an escalation point for the LGS role, as well as key contact for local teams, pre-press agencies and translation services
  • Graphic process governance including compliance, enforcement & exception approval where required
    • Responsible for the effective auditing of process adherence for the GrSS Continuous Improvement of graphics processes
    • Responsible for maintaining established global standards across all cluster teams in region
  • Responsible for delivery of defined efficiency, effectiveness and quality metrics
  • Responsible for translation services within region
  • Responsible for coordinating regional artworks budget: build Corplan assumptions with the categories, track the spending monthly, provide inputs in each S&OP cycles and manage Aged Debt with Pre-Media agencies
  • Responsible for reviewing regional project forecast to identify where synergies may exist at the regional level
  • Responsible for graphics forecasting for region and for prioritizing X-category artworks in case of bottle necks
  • Responsible for direct management of the LGS team located in the region

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in relevant field
  • Graphics experience
  • Candidate should be viewed as a change agent and have experience in change management
  • Strong influencing skills with cross-functional partners and external vendors
  • Excellent verbal and written communications for variety of audiences (all levels internal, multi-functional, external companies)

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Demonstrated experience managing teams
  • Process improvement orientation
  • Managing distributed/remote teams is highly preferred

Job Requirements:

This is a full-time first shift position who will need to periodically attend off-shift Skype calls to interact with the global GSS team and local team members.  Periodic travel will be necessary to effectively manage a global team; however, it is expected to be infrequent.
