Sr. Analyst, Logistics Transportation

This position reporting to the Associate Manager Logistics Transportation and being part of a regional team, you will be responsible for leading and improving the day-to-day operations of the finished goods shipment clearance, warehousing, transportation (secondary freight), maintaining the stock accuracy and ontime delivery for the Turkish operations.

This role will be SC Johnson’s logistics interface with all external logistics service providers (LSPs). This role will be in direct communication with all internal product supply functions, Supply planning, Customer fulfilment, 3PM Manufacturing, Quality, Operation and system in order to provide a higher level of operations with the optimum cost of service.


Customer Service:

  • Leading the warehouse and transportation operations of Inbound/Outbound service provided by LSPs

  • Monitoring the LSP key performance indicators (KPIs)

  • Sustaining the stock accuracy via operating the daily B2B, monthly Cycle count and Year-end full stock count.

  • Solving the day to day operation issues with a clear action plan and being proactive

  • First logistics escalation point of the operation service issues.

  • Provide a root cause analysis and establish continues improvement plans with a clear timeline.

  • Provide a monthly report of the warehouse and transportation capacity, Domestic and Export shipping volumes, risks and opportunities

  • Custom clearance for all the imported/exported shipments.

Cash & Cost:

  • Validating the LSP invoices accuracy with all supportive documents. 

  • Tracking the operational costs vs. Budget on a monthly base to ensure the optimum spend.

  • Reporting the expired and nearly expired products in terms of volumes & value on a monthly base. 

  • Provide the ODE/SF budget analysis, re-estimate and the landed cost at each S&OP cycle at every month 

  • Provide a cost saving initiatives through a solid continues improvement plans. 

  • To ensure the optimum storage volumes at each LSP through monitoring the minimum storage volume agreement vs stock on hand.

Inventory and fleet Management:

  • To ensure the B2B, Monthly cycle count and the year-end full stock count.

  • To ensure the FEFO role being operated on the factory and LSP warehouses. 

  • To monitor the ageing report, shipping volumes and KPIs reports providing figure analysis

  • To ensure delivering the domestic sales and export volumes on time in full aiming highest level of the case/value fill rate (CFR) & (VFR)   

  • To establish the distribution plan with the optimum cost of fleets and tuck utilization.

Trade Compliance & Primary freight (Preferable):

  • Manage the clearing agent daily for RM, PM and FG to ensure timely delivery of stocks at warehouse to avoid any availability issues or factory stoppages.

  • Manage service issues and disruptions (ie. strikes, derailments)

  • Ensure that all procedures and practices within clearance / warehouse meet all the legal requirements and codes

  • Ensure all registrations and government requirement if needed in order to manage the imported range and export FG.  


  • Bachelor’s Degree – Logistics Major will be preferable.

  • 3-6 years of operational experience in Logistics (warehousing, transportation) managing LSP is preferable

  • Turkish mother tongue and English fluent

  • SAP PRD/ECC knowledge is required

  • Strong communication and presentations skills

  • Custom clearance and trade compliance is preferable

  • You need to be legally eligible to work in country of application
