Associate Manager, Sales Account Management (Modern Trade Key Account)

This role will develop and manage SC Johnson (SCJ) business in the assigned group of accounts and achieving annual objectives of volume, profit and growth for the accounts within provided budget. You will build identify, recruit, develop and supervise team within area of responsibility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop yearly Account Planning, Account Profile and measurements (sales volume, budgeting, shared growth, space management, promotion activity, strategy execution and time line) ensuring that these are compatible with the territory and/or the Channel plans and targets
  • Conduct quarterly Business Review Meeting, arrange Yearly Top to Top Meeting with the accounts to update them on the status of the business and identify opportunity areas/ necessary action steps
  • Develop strategic partnership and build goodwill with assigned customers that result in a comprehensive understanding of the customers’ position in the marketplace, business objectives, needs, organization and operational processes; to positively resolve the conflicting demands and situations which may occur between SCJ’s goals and the customers’ objectives
  • Sell volume and distribution by ensuring the assigned accounts carry all appropriate SCJ brands and sizes; effectively manage accounts’ inventory levels by establishing minimum stock levels and selling enough volume to prevent stock outs
  • Attain category leadership for SCJ market leading brands by bringing added value to the accounts through employing leading-edge business practices such as fact-based selling, category management, shelf merchandising technology, computerized link-up and training of personnel
  • Develop category/brands performance improvement, make account specific plan with Marketing and Customer Marketing to maintain and improve market share

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s in Business, Economics or related field
  • Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in managing Key Account
  • Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMGC) industry will be an added advantage
  • Strong leadership and people management background
