OVERVIEW:
About the role:
In this role you will be responsible for Marketing Commercialization & Customer Marketing activities across all categories in Pakistan. You will be accountable and responsible for the health and growth of the brands in charge by collecting actionable insights from the markets, monitoring competition and the latest market trends, working on the consumer communication and media plans while managing launches and commercialization of innovation projects that will lead to profitable sales and market share growth for the business. You will do deep analyses of the market, customers and shopper dynamics, will come up with insights to be converted into action plans across the channels.
Responsibilities:
- Lead development of Category Development Strategy to achieve defined business objectives for categories in charge by designing in-store strategy covering multiple pillars; i.e. BTL communication and in-store materials, price architecture, category assortment, planogram and consumer promotions
- Lead market execution of new launches, define quarterly cycle priorities and cascade the plans on channel basis to the field team through meetings and quarterly distributor meetings
- Manage the budget in charge while over viewing Trade Money initiatives
- Utilize multiple data resources for better understanding of market trends, competition, channels as well as shopper insights driving a high-quality channel/trade plans
- Support Sales Team in the development of Joint Business Plans with major customers and distributors securing an alignment on activation
- Implement global brand strategy through localized adaptation for the assigned brands in alignment with the Cluster marketing leadership and responsibility as well as accountability of the P&Ls and KPIs at country level
- Manage commercialization and launch phases of NPDs. Manage local NPD task force to ensure the appropriate roll out of NPD; provide input for concept development and adapt graphics for assigned brands
Experience you’ll bring:
- Commercial FMCG background with at a solid practical experience
- At least 5 years and plus of experience with preferably in customer/trade marketing
- Strong command of English (written and verbal)
- Strong use of MC Office
