The Associate Manager, Sales Account Management position will be responsible on the Business development and managing the total business portfolio in the area (Region 5/Bicol Region). Work closely with SCJ’s appointed distributor and Retail partners to ensure execution of channel and brand strategies, achievement of annual sales, profit, and growth goals. Responsible for the distribution growth for downline accounts as an essential key priority and will be responsible in the overall 5P’s execution excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure that topline sales objectives are attained/exceeded while staying within trade spend budget, returns are managed within targets and inventory weeks cover are within standard
Increase depth and breadth of distribution to increase Buying Accounts (Census, with minimum required assortment including New Product Developments) for all store types like Supermarket, groceries, drug stores, wholesalers, sari-sari stores (SSS) / market stalls (MS)
Improve business and relationship by ensuring account plans are in place and these investments provide win-win results for both accounts and category. Account activities / promotions should be supported with sales / return of investments (ROI) analysis.
Flawless execution of Marketing campaign per category to continuously improve Market Shares.
Conduct regular business updates and do a bi-annual Business Review with top accounts
Build distributor salesmen’s capabilities aligned with SCJ Way of Selling and ensure that distributor’s profitability is managed
Conduct regular route ride / field work with distributor’s salesmen and provide feedback on opportunity areas (Sales team, Trade partners and Distributor)
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any business-related course
At least 5 years sales experience in managing downline accounts for fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) distributors (General Trade)
Extensive knowledge in sales analytics
Knows how to drive with non-Professional/Professional Driver’s License.
Typical work hours: 9 hours including breaks (8am to 5pm), Monday to Friday.
Overtime may be required depending on the critical deliverables and company important meetings and events.
