Associate Manager, Supply Planning
Makati City, Philippines Job ID 18288 ApplyAs the Associate Manager, Supply Planning, you are entrusted to develop and maintain professional relationships with local and remote supply chain planning partners. You are responsible to optimize service, inventory and cost, lead the group of supply planners in delivering an effective and efficient supply planning processes for the cluster and region assigned to achieve desired levels of Case Fill Rate (CFR) and Inventory with positive impact on cost
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as the team champion, representing the team in the cluster/regional supply planning community and ensuring alignment with the cluster/regional roadmap
Harmonize, drive, and continuously improve Supply Planning Strategies, Processes and Toolset within the cluster
Ensure compliancy to the globally defined Supply Planning strategies, processes, working procedures, metrics and tools within the team
Develop and enhance the Supply Planning technical skills and competences in the team by assessing and identifying knowledge gaps and running relevant education/training or hands-on sessions
Ensure strong leadership in managing supply planning to balance customer satisfaction and inventory, driving effective and efficient supply planning for existing and new products.
Teaching supply planners the effect of their supply plan on the rest of the execution chain and rippling effect of their metrics
Review KPI (Key Performance Indicators) against targets driving a culture of true root cause analysis with action plans and strong performance management. Including engagement with cross functional teams to correctly address true root causes
Lead, coach and develop all the supply planners
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering or related course
Minimum 6 years of experience working in a supply planning or similar function, preferably in consumer goods industry
At least 2 years of management or leadership experience
System Knowledge SAP (ECC & APO-master data) is a must
Knowledge in the process of New Product Development (NPD)
Experience working in a team-based, cross functional environment
