Administrative Assistant - Site Engineering
Racine, Wisconsin Job ID 20800 ApplyThe Administrative Assistant provides support to SC Johnson’s Waxdale Site Engineering team and reports to the Manager, Engineering. In this role, you will improve the performance and output of the engineering team by taking responsibility for the non-technical aspects of project execution. You will demonstrate high levels of discretion, communication, organization, initiative, sense of urgency, decisiveness, and ability to work independently while remaining flexible under pressure and changing priorities in this dynamic environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Vendor set-up and maintenance
Purchase order creation and invoicing management
Capital reporting, capital forecasting, work order closure and internal order closeout
Calendar management and meeting scheduling
Sample, equipment, and miscellaneous shipment and receiving process management
Contractor onboarding, training qualification, and prejobs process management via ISN Worldnet
Technical drawing records management
Office supplies, special orders, plotter maintenance, and laptop orders
Foster team culture through activities and calendar remembrances
Perform fixed asset capitalizations, retirements, and inventory audits
Other activities as assigned such as report preparation, travel expense reporting, etc.
Develop and refine departmental business process as necessary
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of administrative experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Proficiency in SAP
Interact with and support a diverse and dynamic internal and external team – varying roles and levels
Effectively work cross-functionally as well as independently
Resolve issues by being resourceful
Prioritize workload effectively with tasks coming from multiple department colleagues
Learn additional computer software programs as required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
High degree of initiative and sense of urgency
Proactive approach to planning and strong attention to detail
Interest in working in a team environment
