Associate Brand Manager, Global Innovation - Ziploc

The Global Innovation Associate Brand Manager will focus on ‘End of Life’ substrates, inclusive of Compostable bags and Recyclable Paper bags, leading cross-functional teams to create and deliver the global pipeline and growth commitments within broader Home Storage. The associate in this role will focus on creating solutions and experiences for the portion of the Ziploc’s portfolio which has a no-waste end of life (i.e. recyclable, compostable). The associate will identify opportunities through a deep consumer and commercial understanding of each business and will prioritize their growth plans accordingly. The associate will closely partner with the equity team and country marketing commercialization teams to deliver Strat 2025 plans. Key during this role will be for the associate to create a launch plan for a backyard compostable product – inclusive of education and adoption strategies. Additionally, the associate will be the total brand lead for the IGP process, coordinating and consolidating all inputs to create a integrated brand narrative for regions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for Home Storage ‘End of Life’ platform innovation pipeline development & projects to deliver against the following segments: Compostable, Recyclable Paper, and other end of life substrates.
  • Translating unmet consumer needs into winning concepts that meet category & customer needs that will deliver advantage for our products and brands (with consumers, customers & vs. competition)
  • Scope, Lead & Deliver new product innovation to fuel the commercial business
  • Deliver platform 5Y product and marketing innovation pipelines to address consumer needs and enhance our brand equity by immersing in problems to solve and the brand North Stars.
  • Lead the IGP process for the total Global Ziploc team. Additionally for define portion of portfolio: partner with markets/clusters in the IGP planning against local problems to solve by building and aligning global solutions with local markets and senior regional leadership.

Required Skills/Experience /Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related subject required
  • 5+ years of related work experience or 3 + years with an advanced degree.

Preferred Skills/Experience/Competencies:

  • Global experience/exposure
  • 3-5 years of marketing experience in developing consumer products
  • Leadership of cross-functional teams
  • Successful partnerships with agencies and ability to leverage IMC assets into execution
  • MBA Preferred
  • Passion for creativity and innovation
  • Comfortable working in ambiguity, and able to turn that to advantage
  • High sense of urgency
  • Demonstrated team leadership and development
