Associate Brand Manager - Home Storage

This position is in SCJ’s Global Marketing team. The role is responsible for growing business profitability while gaining share.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • As an Associate Brand Manager, Home Storage, the primary focus will be on managing projects of containers and home organization, while supporting on key projects of Sustainability and Durable Better For You that is an Invest segment and one of the priority growth pillars for the brand.
  • Provide analysis in support of strategy development. Execute day-to-day responsibilities against business priorities that best align with the strategy.
  • Understand consumer and shopper insights that drive segment priorities. Execute analysis and make conclusions/recommendations to support business initiatives and priorities.
  • Provide analytical support and input into packaging briefs and CAB development. Support product package changes and communication execution of tactics within non-TV channels
  • Understand fundamentals around managing the business P&L
  • Begin building a general understanding of SCJ’s customers and their relative importance of each other to the division and to Global Brand chain. Lead detailed understanding of Tier 2 & 3 Customers (as appropriate).
  • Demonstrate honesty, courage and transparency in words and actions

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of relevant experience OR an advanced degree and 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES:

  • Ideally the prospective candidate will have some global experience and working with marketing commercialization teams across countries
  • Prior FMCG/CPG experience preferred
  • Excellent ability to work with cross functional teams is critical, and a key success driver. Teams typically include RD&E, Legal, CIBA, Design, Product Supply.

SC Johnson’s total compensation packages are at or above industry levels.
