Associate Manager, Project Manager, Corporate Initiatives

This role has direct responsibility for developing, establishing and implementing our communications strategy for the Global Supply Chain organization with the objective of strengthening authentic connections with our diverse team members around the world. The focus is on informing, influencing and inspiring teams at all levels and functions in the organization, improving their understanding of our Supply Chain’s strategy, priorities and goals.

This role is in the Global Supply Chain Program Management Office supporting the Global Supply Chain team to build, develop and improve the Supply Chain operating model. This is a high-exposure role and will provide a great cross-cultural learning experience through a global lens. 

  • Develop, drive and support the execution of Global Supply Chain communication strategy and implementation plan
  • Support the planning, development and execution of the annual Global Supply Chain convention in conjunction with the Global Supply Chain Leadership team
  • Co-design and develop all materials and co-ordinate global / regional communications for townhalls, roadshows and leadership off-site reviews in conjunction with the Global Supply Chain leadership team
  • Support the execution of Global Supply Chain rituals and routines

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, drive and support the execution of Global Supply Chain communication strategy and implementation plan
    • Support the Head of GSC PMO to develop the GSC communications strategy, build and develop a communications standard WOW and embed in the global and regional organisations
    • Lead the Performance Driver Champions Councils
    • Ensure greater sharing of best practices to improve communications across the regions and functions

  • Support the planning, development and execution of the annual Global Supply Chain convention in conjunction with the Global Supply Chain Leadership team
    • Coordinate and support design of internal advertisement for the Convention and the year to come
    • Gather and compile wins and awards candidates ahead of the convention
    • Lead and drive all logistics activities for the convention programme delivering a great experience on budget and complying with all SCJ internal policies and guaranteeing proper security for all activities

  • Co-design and develop all materials and co-ordinate global / regional communications for townhalls, roadshows and leadership off-site reviews in conjunction with the Global Supply Chain leadership team

  • Support the execution of Global Supply Chain rituals and routines
    • Own and gate keep action items and follow-ups for global routines
    • Co-lead the global metric review process for Supply Chain including rollup of regional metric reviews and board visualization
    • Support SVP Global Supply Chain in the execution of the Monthly Top Initiatives review
    • Execute the collection, analysis and distribution of information for the development of the plan for the key strategic and systematic GSC initiatives
    • Standardize how information is compiled and reported and ensure appropriate completion of reporting deliverables for the top initiatives designated by the GSC Development team

Required Experience & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing or related business discipline and 5 years of relevant experience or advanced degree plus 3 years relevant experience.

Desired Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in leading projects/programs in a multinational FMCG company and/or in an operations practice group in a strategic consulting company

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
