Associate Manager, Customer Fulfillment

Summary:

Reporting to the Manager of the Customer Fulfillment team the Associate Manager, Customer Fulfillment will be accountable for the leadership, management and performance of a team of Collaboration Analysts and Sr Analysts supporting North America.  The Associate Manager must ensure their portfolio of customers receive service that is aligned with    SC Johnson’s strategy and is executed in a manner that results in a best in class customer experience.  As needed, the Associate Manager may be required to represent SC Johnson in customer meetings and/or projects to achieve strategic goals.  This role may require limited travel to locations within North America.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide clear leadership through a combination of objective setting, one-to-one coaching and training
  • Ensure all team members are focused on customer requirements and are properly equipped to provide best in class customer experience
  • Continuously build capability within the team through coaching, focusing on business acumen, Supply Chain knowledge and communication & influencing skills
  • Lead efforts to build and maintain collaborative relationships with cross functional partners to drive customer and supply chain initiatives
  • Lead the Collaboration team to identify and deliver ongoing efficiency and effectiveness improvements to Customer Fulfillment activities using Lean tools and methodologies
  • Lead the Customer Fulfillment Collaboration Team to work closely with Customers and cross-functional partners to ensure communication occurs on all service elements
  • Be the advocate of the customer and of outstanding service with all SCJ cross-functional partners knowing established processes and representing Customer Fulfillment in Supply Chain meetings

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or related field
  • 2+ years SAP Experience
  • 2+ years Customer Service and/or Supply Chain experience
  • 2+ years of demonstrated leadership skills and achieved results in collaborating with cross-functional business partners to drive strategic initiatives/efficiency solutions
  • 2+ years of demonstrated leadership in the Lean principles through Kikai/Kaizen process improvement initiatives

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • 1+ years of People Manager Experience
  • Focused on continuous improvement
  • Understanding of end-to-end Consumer Product Goods (CPG) Supply Chain desired
  • Proven analytical capability
  • Ability to analyze and draw insights from data
  • Strong oral & written communication skills
  • Strong influencing and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently to prioritize tasks under the pressure of competing demands
  • Intermediate to Advanced level in all Microsoft Office Applications
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexibility/adaptability/respecting deadlines

Job Requirements:

  • Full-time 1st Shift
  • Position requires limited travel to the BPO office or customer account locations within North America (may include overnight)
