Associate Manager, Packaging Engineer
Racine, Wisconsin Job ID 20293 ApplyAs the Associate, Manager, Packaging Engineer you will be executing & leading packaging development of commercialization projects for the North America Region. You will have the opportunity to lead packaging development for growth, business continuity, sustainability and cost saving projects, following the technical processes and procedures in place.
You will also ensure that technical deliverables are properly completed and you will also develop special pack to meet consumer/customer needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Support global RD&E for complex projects on primary pack development and qualification then localize and adopt primary pack according to North America needs.
Lead & perform tests for both primary & secondary package components.
Qualify developed methods/instructions in internal and external manufacturing sites by attending required trials.
Lead packaging related key milestones to support cross functional team to build project timeline and participate in project meetings accordingly.
Issue component specifications, product recipes and pallet patterns, etc.
Support Product Data Management Team to build BOM in PLM system.
Lead cross business packaging initiatives.
Attend Technical Reviews and responsible for completing technical deliverables according to the Technical Review process
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging Engineering or related field and 5 years of related experience or an advanced degree in Packaging Engineering or related field and 3 years of related experience.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Proficiency in both written and spoken English
Experience in Project Management in manufacturing/product development/purchasing/planning/distribution role
Strong team player
Ability to operate in a complex, non-structured environment
Proactive, result driven and self-starter
International experience and exposure an advantage.
Mold related packaging development experience an advantage.
Experience to interface, lead and build relationships with multiple levels and functions internal and external to the corporation
Ability to motivate non-direct reports; keep teams working well together
Possess clear and concise communication skills/collaboration skills, especially across countries; orchestrate effective meetings
Fluency in English language, both verbal and written
