Associate Manager, Supply Planning, Capabilities and Analytics

 Summary:

Manage and Lead Planning Capabilities and Analytics in support of MPS/DRP or MRP processes within NA Planning Technologies teams. Builds supply planner competencies through adept coaching and continuous improvement mindset. Demonstrates best in class analytical, communication and leadership skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Leverage skills matrix & CDG to enhance core planning competencies

2. Embrace lean methodology & identify and/or lead continuous improvement initiatives

3. Measure, analyze & translate data into actionable information to drive positive results

4. Support the delivery of NA case fill & inventory KPI’s through process improvement initiatives

5. Continuous improvement across planning strategies, processes & tools, aligned to global best practice

6. Ensure planning excellence in support of the end to end supply chain operation

Key Competencies:

1. Extensive knowledge of SAP, APO, ECC and sub-modules

  • • Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PPDS)
  • • Supply Network Planning (SNP)
  • • Demand Planning
  • • Master Data & Core Interface (CIF)

2. Advance aptitude within SAP BW and ability to customize raw data in Excel

3. Ability to create Macro enabled excel reports to drive performance improvement and time savings

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

1. University/Bachelor Degree in related field, e.g., Engineering, Supply Chain Mgmt., Business Administration, Information Technology

2. Demonstrated planning capabilities (MRP/MPS/DRP); minimum 5 years’ experience

3. Supply Chain/business aptitude; minimum 5 years’ experience

4. Management or leadership experience; 1 – 2 years

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

1. Experience in the CPG industry and/or knowledge of APICS certification, e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CLTD

2. Advanced proficiency w/PC-based applications (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and/or Access)

3. Demonstrated understanding of end to end Supply Chain
