Corporate Accounting Senior Analyst

Summary:

The Corporate Accounting Senior Analyst is responsible for employee-related accounting and HR support, including executive compensation, US employee salaries and benefits and NA payroll support.  Reporting to the Sr. Director, Corporate Accounting, this role partners across the organization with HQ and BU FP&A, Corporate Treasury, HR Compensation, and the NA HR Delivery Center to deliver its results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage budgeting, forecasting and accounting for Parent Company stock and stock-based awards globally
    • Partner with Treasury and Legal to account for Company stock and related transactions
    • Govern global accounting and reconciliations for stock-based long-term incentives
    • Support consolidated year end audit and provide Company financial statement disclosures
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting and accounting for US-based executive bonus program
  • Perform month-end close responsibilities for Executive Compensation Charge and related cost centers
  • Lead the annual budgeting for US employee salaries and benefits and support HQ/BU FP&A with monthly variance analysis and/or projections
    • Perform month-end close responsibilities for US-based employee benefits allocations and general services
    • Provide headcount reporting and analysis
  • Support NA Payroll processes and accounting, assisting with processing workflow and approving account reconciliations
  • Oversee Family, Affiliate and Executive invoicing process

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or military experience considered in lieu of education requirement
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience, with experience/exposure to stock and stock-based accounting and/or demonstrated ability to apply US GAAP guidance in practice preferred
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Proficient in PowerPoint, BPC-FIN; Access a plus
  • Sets an example for leading with integrity and protecting confidential information
  • Attention to detail; seeks out precision in work
  • Identifies process improvements and delivers efficiencies
  • Forms working relationships easily and focuses on customer service
  • Communicates well, tailoring the message to the audience
  • Proficient in Excel and SAP (or similar ERP)
