Global Leadership Development Manager (Assessment, Coaching and Executive Programs)

We are seeking a passionate leadership development expert with experience engaging with senior executive leaders to build out our leadership strategy with assessment tools, an internal coaching practice, and innovative experiences that engage and inspire leaders to reach their full leadership potential.

The Leadership Development Manager (Assessment, Coaching and Executive Programs), internally titled Manager, Talent Management & Organization Effectiveness, will join a global team of Talent Management, Org Effectiveness and Leadership experts who lead specific global programs/ processes or support broader talent strategy for specific client groups within the organization.

Partnering with the Talent Managers, this person will design, facilitate, curate, and manage a portfolio of executive leadership learning solutions and experiences. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end development of leadership learning and experiences designed for executive level leaders
  • Partner with Director to shape the Enterprise Coaching Strategy with multiple tiers (e.g., supporting senior executives with external coaches and leveraging internal certified coaches for first time people managers)
  • Partner with Director to create custom leadership assessments (e.g., 360 degree feedback)
  • Build a new internal coaching practice, including an internal certification to equip HRBPs to support leaders in 360 debrief coaching as part of multi-tiered coaching strategy
  • Manage external coaching vendor relationship and liaison with business to match leaders with appropriate external solution
  • Collaborate with broader Talent Management and Leadership team members to shape high potential leadership development programs for emerging leaders
  • Leverage internal expertise, vendors, and consultants to develop, deliver and maintain best in class leadership development experiences across SCJ
  • Assess current and future leadership needs of the organization through interviews, focus groups, surveys, and analysis of data
  • Shape and leverage Leadership Development KPIs, leveraging data to improve programs and demonstrate the impact and efficacy of learning initiatives for the business        
  • Deliver/assist in live and virtual programs in a way that is tailored and relevant to each audience
  • Develop necessary partnerships and network to continuously challenge leadership development
  • Coach and train internal subject matter experts/facilitators         
  • Manage budgets for individual programs

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of combined global HR, Talent Management, and Organization Development is required (preferably in a centralized global organization)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, or related field is required
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Experience in assessment design and validation
  • Experience designing and delivering learning or leadership development experiences
  • Experience as a leadership coach required
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and collaborate with cross-functional global partners
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation and storytelling skills; must be capable of communicating information to diverse audiences in onsite and virtual environment
  • Post-graduate degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology or related field is highly desirable
  • Assessment certification
  • Exceptional facilitation skills with ability to identify stellar facilitators, and knows how to source and coach facilitators
  • Experience developing or managing an internal coaching practice is highly desirable
  • Experience in executive level coaching highly desirable
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing critical learning needs for an organization
  • Proven success in consulting with leaders and key stakeholders on learning related solutions
  • Familiarity with the leadership and professional development landscape of service providers and vendors
  • Ability to manage and motivate others (peers, employees and leaders)
  • Experience in new and existing learning delivery methods, including ILT, vILT, online learning, webcasts, mobile, social, video, and microlearning
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize workloads, self-motivated and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated change management skills
  • Demonstrated flexibility to shift from strategic to tactical work depending upon the situation and role required      
  • Ability to effectively scope, plan and engage colleagues on projects; ability to develop and manage to a comprehensive project plan, ensuring it describes all tasks, deliverables, dates, and roles       
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze, synthesize and translate data into meaningful insights for the business- including but not limited to linkage analyses leveraging multiple sources of data      
  • Agile and nimble; Able to manage ambiguity and drive for results in a dynamic environment
  • Experience in a CPG or FMCG organizational context
