Due to global growth the SC Johnson Recruiting team is seeking an experienced, talented and customer-focused Global Executive Recruitment Manager to join our Executive Talent Acquisition (ExGTA) team. Reporting into the Global Director, Executive Talent Acquisition, the Manager will oversee hiring of Director, Senior & Executive Director level for SC Johnson globally while supporting VP and above positions.

To take more strategic ownership of this key talent group, an opportunity to develop , in conjunction with our Talent Intelligence team, a new in-house direct hiring executive search function for Director level roles exists to support senior level hiring across a range of global businesses. The creation of the new direct hire model requires an experienced recruitment professional to lead this with a specialization in the identification, attraction, and assessment of executive level talent in the CPG/FMCG talent space. Based our Racine Headquarters, the primary focus will be to help build further delivery capability to support senior level hiring across a range of global and regional businesses through the active management of Director + positions.

  • End to end management of senior level requisitions, from initial brief through to successful completion
  • Partner with the Global Director to deliver and manage key leadership hires (VP+)
  • Day to day operational management of a small global team of executive talent partners & associates
  • Further develop direct resourcing model to reduce vendor dependency in executive hiring space at Director to Executive Director level
  • Build relationships with key senior stakeholders to create a consolidated and ongoing view on strategic hiring needs
  • Operate as a trusted partner and valued advisor, building a deep understanding of the various businesses, role requirements and desired candidate profiles
  • Conduct talent mapping and research to identify the competitive landscape and key target individuals
  • Work with our research hub to provide strategic talent intelligence to key stakeholders on candidate and competitor activity in the CPG talent market
  • Build and manage talent pools and networks to build a pipeline for future Executive level needs
  • Further define the candidate value proposition, managing candidate outreach and engagement
  • Conduct detailed competency-based assessments on identified candidates and managing them through the selection process
  • Partner with the Compensation Team to ensure a speedy offer process, providing a world class candidate experience to support the higher touch service expectations of Executive level talent
  • Deliver the key metrics, analytics and reporting that will track and measure the performance and ROI of the executive level mandates, including time, candidate quality, service quality, cost, tenure & diversity KPIs
  • Manage vendor relationships with key Executive Search organizations as required and tracking their performance
  • Articulate the global talent brand and candidate value proposition in a compelling way to Executive level talent
  • Support hiring managers through coaching and behavioral based interview training, as required, to improve the quality of hiring decisions
  • Manage best practice processes, knowledge management of market intelligence & ensuring all processes adhere to data protection standards by country/region
  • Work with Talent Management to create advanced leadership assessment frameworks
  • Participate in global talent acquisition & management projects – outside of executive recruiting

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with high academic achievement required

  • 10+ years of recruiting experience combined with extensive experience in executive search (key leadership roles from board to regional and functional leads)  from a corporate OR search firm

  • Deep understanding of in-house and external executive search on a global basis

  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships through a dedicated focus on client service and delivery

  • Team leadership & development

  • Strategic thinking and influencing skills

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Entrepreneurial and innovative thinker 

  • Ability to be responsive and effective in a fast-paced yet consensus-based corporate culture

  • Deep knowledge and proven success of executive search techniques

  • Well versed with tools for managing senior level talent

  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Suite

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Prior experience in CPG/FMCG sector at Director and above level and/or deep functional executive search experience ideally in corporate functions

  • Experience building, managing, developing and engaging internal/external executive research resources

  • Global / Multi-geography experience

  • Executive assessment exposure

  • Understanding of how to develop and leverage talent intelligence to optimize executive search strategy & outcomes

Job Requirements:

  • Domestic and International Travel (10-20% of the  time)
