Manager, Global Executive Recruiting

The SCJ Recruiting team is seeking an experienced, talented and customer-focused Executive Recruitment Manager to join our Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) team. Reporting into the Senior Director, Global Talent Acquisition, the Manager will oversee hiring of Director and above vacancies for SC Johnson globally.

To take more strategic ownership of this key talent group, an opportunity to develop a new in-house executive search function exists to support senior level hiring across a range of global businesses. The creation of the new in-house executive search team requires an experienced recruitment professional to lead this with a specialization in the identification, attraction and assessment of executive level talent in the CPG/FMCG talent space. Based in one of the key hub locations, their primary focus will be to help build a new delivery capability to support senior level hiring across a range of global and regional businesses through the active management of Executive level mandates.

Job Details:


  • End to end management of senior level requisitions, from initial brief through to successful completion
  • Development of an agile resourcing model to reduce vendor dependency in executive hiring space
  • Building relationships with key senior stakeholders to create a consolidated and ongoing view on strategic hiring needs
  • Operating as a trusted partner and valued advisor, building a deep understanding of the various businesses, role requirements and desired candidate profiles
  • Conducting talent mapping and research to identify the competitive landscape and key target individuals
  • Providing strategic talent intelligence to key stakeholders on candidate and competitor activity in the talent market
  • Build and manage talent pools and networks to build a pipeline for future Executive level needs
  • Defining the candidate value proposition, managing candidate outreach and engagement
  • Conducting detailed competency-based assessments on identified candidates and managing them through the selection process
  • Partnering with the Compensation Team to ensure a speedy offer process Providing a world class candidate experience to support the higher touch service expectations of Executive level talent
  • Delivering the key metrics, analytics and reporting that will track and measure the performance and ROI of the executive level mandates, including time, candidate quality, service quality, cost, tenure & diversity KPIs
  • Reviewing the market and establishing vendor relationships with key Executive Search organizations as required and tracking their performance
  • Development of fit for purpose vendor supply list – driving supplier collaboration and optimal commercial terms
  • Articulating the global talent brand and candidate value proposition in a compelling way to Executive level talent
  • Support hiring managers through coaching and behavioral based interview training, as required, to improve the quality of hiring decisions
  • Managing best practice processes, knowledge management of market intelligence & ensuring all processes adhere to data protection standards by country/region
  • Engagement in global talent acquisition projects – outside of executive recruiting

    Basic Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with high academic achievement required
  • 10+ years of recruiting experience combined with extensive experience in executive search
  • Deep understanding of in-house and external executive search on a global basis
  • Prior experience in CPG/FMCG sector at Director and above level across
  • Experience building, managing, developing and engaging internal/external executive research resources
  • Strong candidate management and behavioral based interviewing experience
