The Manager, Procurement – Marketing Services Portfolio will engage and work in partnership with the Marketing and Sales NA and Global team to support long-term business goals. You will be instrumental in the development and implementation of various strategic initiatives aiming to optimize end to end processes, innovation, service levels and total cost of ownership. The expect annual spend is $170MM. You will identify opportunities, achieve business goals, and exceed customer needs. Marketing categories include categories such as Displays & POS Materials, Market Research, call center, Design, Translations, Promotions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for all aspects of the Marketing spend including leading and executing competitive events and strategies for the category
You will have direct responsibility for developing and implementing the sourcing strategy of the various Marketing subcategories
You will engage with internal customers to understand their needs and summarize business requirements as input into enterprise-wide sourcing efforts; work to identify, prioritize and manage requirements for current, new and future activities
Provide leadership and support during sourcing initiatives, including total cost of ownership model development, category strategy development, fact-based negotiation, supplier evaluation & selection, and support in the implementation
Manage the relationship with suppliers: You will develop and manage mutually beneficial relationships with key suppliers; Develop and prioritize approaches to meet business objectives and benefit targets; Manage supplier performance based on performance objectives; Oversee the quarterly business review process for key suppliers; Provide high level of issue resolution where necessary
Deliver objectives in line with Global Procurement and business objectives including Cost, Cash, Supplier management, Customer Service, Supplier diversity, Sustainability, and Sales Growth
Drive a culture of strong performance. Champions change management activities to continually improve Marketing investments

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Bachelor’s Degree in business, Finance, Marketing or related discipline or military experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirement
Minimum seven years’ experience in Procurement or Marketing
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Master’s Degree
Experience in Marketing and/or Marketing procurement
Must have a proven track record of achieving results in a cross functional environment of management peers
Procurement knowledge of market analysis, macro-economic drivers, sourcing category strategy, supplier relationship management, “should-cost” models, negotiation strategies, supplier continuous improvement programs
Knowledge of critical procurement legal requirements and contracting best practices.
Strong project management and change management skills and experience
Demonstrated sense of urgency and decisiveness; takes prompt action to accomplish goals; proactively attempts to influence events rather than passively accept outcomes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively communicate new ideas to audiences ranging from team members to Senior Leadership
Demonstrated high level of curiosity, creativity, and strong problem-solving skills
Able and willing to transition quickly to different tasks, to shift priorities and modify actions to meet changing job demands at short notice
Well-developed business and financial management capability, and a keen understanding of the business equation and how business and sourcing/procurement decisions impact financials (P&L, Balance Sheet)
Experience working with a global team
