Manager, SAP FICO Systems Analyst

Summary:

The Manager, SAP FICO Systems Analyst at S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc. in Racine, WI will support the SAP Process Lead by focusing business process analysis, application re-engineering and configuration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This position will be responsible for the following:

  • Create process and system changes by integrating new processes with existing ones in SAP and communicate these changes to impacted internal business process owners and the IT organization.

  • Work with business process owners to understand existing, emergency, and emerging business requirements;

  • Research and evaluate software application alternatives;

  • Serve as a liaison with the business to document and create software application solution designs, ensuring integration with other SAP modules, master data alignment, adherence with SAP security architecture/audit guidelines, and global/regional system configuration;

  • Collaborate with architects in developing and implementing these software and application solutions by aiding with proof-of-concept development, technical configuration, use cases, test execution, training, deployment, and on-going support;

  • Create and review detailed software application requirement documents and functional specifications based on business requirements, technical specifications as required, use cases, test scenarios, impacts to other process and business applications;

  • Work with the outsourced support partner to identify, develop, implement, test, and support changes and/or enhancements to the SAP system;

  • Ensure the system change requests adhere to the SAP Global template and Change Control guidelines and do not break existing configuration and custom programs;

  • Drive to improve, optimize, and innovate business processes and SAP technical software and application solutions; and

  • Participate in SAP projects as a SAP systems analyst.

  • Travel includes domestic travel to Manufacturing Sites.

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 7 years of professional experience designing, configuring, and implementing SAP Finance solutions. Must include 4 years of experience with each of the following: (1) SAP FICO sub-modules General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, and Cash & Bank Accounting; (2) support improvement initiatives to the SAP system; (3) liaise with business process owners and stakeholders to understand SAP business requirements to create SAP application solution designs; (4) create process flows and process definition documents; (5) develop functional specifications for system changes; (6) develop accurate code; (7) conduct trainings for end users; and (8) conduct SAP cutover activities and data conversion.

  • Must also include 2 full lifecycle implementations of SAP Projects.
