The Manager of Supply Planning and Integration will be the SC Johnson business process lead for assigned functional scope, responsible for leading Supply Chain business transitions to SAP - reporting into the Director of Supply Chain Integration. This position will be specifically responsible for inbound planning or Logistics Operations integration: developing and leading detailed change management plans and business process transitions including Lifestyles Brand Integration, partnering closely with the SC Johnson IT team. In addition to functional planning ownership, this role will be Project Lead and leading cross-functional integration for 1-2 regions. Role is high visibility position with indirect management across Supply Chain functions, including Planning, Warehousing, MRP, Procurement and Customer Fulfillment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead integration activities for the assigned functional area and region(s) Own business process optimization and work with stakeholders to ensure full alignment on future state process, required transition steps and ongoing business support for assigned functional area (inbound planning or logistics integration). Skillfully employ change management to achieve these objectives. Partner with Information Systems to define the coordinated and detailed business transition project plan related to new business integrations in both NA and assigned regions Keep the transition efforts on track, ensuring continuous engagement and execution by all stakeholders. Ensure strong communication and change management developed and executed Report metrics to identify progress. When progress lags objectives, identify root causes and drive corrective actions. Ensure tight alignment between systems capability and business process so that it is appropriate for SCJ and enables the enterprise to achieve its objectives.
Expert knowledge of SAP, APO, ECC and sub-modules from business and technical perspective:
Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PPDS)
Supply Network Planning (SNP)
Master Data & Core Interface (CIF)
Advance aptitude within SAP BW and ability to customize raw data in Excel Ability to create Macro enabled excel reports to drive performance improvement and time savings Project Management Knowledge and ability to keep a small team on task Ability to drive business process improvement through information systems/SAP
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Hands-on experience with SAP Integrations from Business perspective Demonstrated planning capabilities (MRP/MPS/DRP); minimum 5 years’ experience.
University/Bachelor Degree in related field, e.g., Engineering, Supply Chain Mgmt., Business Administration Supply Chain/business aptitude; minimum 5 years’ experience Management or leadership experience; 1 – 2 years Advanced proficiency w/PC-based applications (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and/or Access)
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
Experience in the CPG industry and/or knowledge of APICS certification, e.g., CSCP, CPIM, CLTD Knowledge of EDI and other partner connectivity methodologies
Demonstrated understanding of end to end Supply Chain
