Trade Compliance Senior Analyst

The Trade Compliance Senior Analyst will be responsible for ensuring Organizational Compliance for Importing/Exporting products in the US and Canada.

Primary Responsibilities:

HTS classification, determination of Country of Origin, Free Trade Agreement qualification

Auditing Import/Export Customs documentation to ensure accuracy of records; providing corrective action as needed

Execution of Trade Compliance projects as assigned

Proactively communicate, streamline, and update standard operating procedures

Other responsibilities as assigned

Training Internal/External partners on Compliance processes

Report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Ensure that correct import and export master data is populated in SAP and communicated to internal and external partners

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree required, preferably within Business, Supply Chain, or International Studies and two years of experience, or an advanced degree and one year of experience

Trade compliance experience – HTS classification, Incoterms, Free Trade Agreement Qualification, Country of Origin determination, Valuation rules, Import/Export Regulations

Desired Skills:

Experience working with Customs Brokers

Self-starter able to work independently

Ability to manage multiple priorities

Ability to work cross-functionally in a professional manner

Continuous Improvement mindset

CCS certification

Canada Customs Compliance experience

Data Analytics Experience

Software experience: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft share point, Tableau, SAP
