Function:  Category Management

Overview:

We are seeking a Category Analyst to join our small, but passionate category management team.  Our mission is to grow eco-cleaning by developing and landing strategies that deliver for the consumer, our retailers and our brands.  We’re looking for an experienced analyst to help us stay on the forefront of consumer, shopper and industry trends.  The successful candidate will support the EU category team.  The role has a broad remit including monthly reporting as well as ad-hoc analysis into a wide range of subjects.

Responsibilities: 

  • Broadly split between:

Regular reporting (c.40% of the role) e.g.

  • Updating regular reports and sharing with stakeholders OTIF
  • Leading monthly performance review
  • e-Commerce round-up

Ad-hoc analysis into a broad range of subjects (c.60% of the role) e.g.

  • Macro trends
  • Shopper trends
  • Brand performance
  • Drivers of category performance
  • Sell-in stories for NPD
  • NPD performance tracking
  • Competitor activity
  • Supporting on range reviews
  • Etc.

Experience you’ll bring:

•Essential: Proven track record of analysing data and turning it into actionable insights

•Essential: Comfortable using Microsoft tools, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

•Essential: Experienced at presenting to stakeholders in 121 situations as well as to larger groups

•Desirable: Experience of working in the FMCG industry (internship/year-in-industry)

•Desirable: Experienced in working with sources of EPOS and Shopper data e.g. Nielsen, Kantar
