Associate Manager, Project Manager – Supply Chain and Customer Business Development

Purpose:

As Associate Manager, Project Manager – Supply Chain and Customer Business Development (internally Associate Manager, Project Mgmt, Commercialization) based in Toluca and reporting to the Dir Project Management – Supply Chain + Customer Business Development, the role will be responsible for managing end to end support, coordination, and management of supply chain, customer business development and cost savings initiatives to ensure on-time, on-budget, and on strategy execution.  In addition, this role will be responsible for implementing process improvement initiatives and supporting other projects This role is a key position that ensures all projects are effectively executed, stakeholders are kept informed, and team members are kept prioritized, focused, and on-track to meet the objectives in our busy environment in ensuring supply.  This position will require working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Main responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Pipeline Strategy + Prioritization.
  • Support Dir of PM (Supply Chain + Base Business) on creating and maintaining SC + Base Business pipeline.
  • Project Planning  (e2e supply resiliency/cost savings/mfg/3PM/ special packs).
  • Develop the project plans and schedules with functional leads.
  • Ensure proactive scheduling of key deliverables, milestones and deliverable tasks.
  • Ensure necessary steps and dependencies to deliver projects and components are established.
  • Estimate resource needs with help from functional leads.
  • Project Execution.
  • Manage + execute complex supply chain, capital, network optimization, cost savings programs, process improvement and operations projects.
  • Manage + execute projects supporting the growth of base business for LSB.
  • Ensure individual projects are executed on-time, on-budget, and on-strategy  
  • Process + KPI’s.
  • Shepherd + coach Supply Chain and business functions on project stage gate process.
  • Monthy project status report.

Professional Profile:

  • Required advanced English with verbal and written fluency.
  • 5+ years project management experience, including project budgeting and proposal review, with clear understanding of technical interdependencies, supply chain knowledge.
  • Proven experience leading and managing project teams in a highly collaborative and dynamic business environment.

  • Experience in operating within a high-speed manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in collaborating with consultants, engineers, contractors.

  • Capability in developing and implementing business processes, including technical risk identification and mitigation/contingency planning.
  • Strong technical skills and understanding:  Data analysis and problem-solving capabilities, familiarity with formulation and packaging test methodologies.
  • Outstanding IT skills: MS Project, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.
