The Key Account Manager builds, negotiates and pilots the execution of his customers Business Plan. He is responsible for achieving the turnover and profit objectives of his customers.
Responsible for the management of specific Key Accounts within the Netherlands trade including analysis, presentation of products and trade term negotiation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Build the customers annual business plans, working closely with the Commercial Marketing team (Customer Marketing) to integrate the categories priorities
Negotiate these plans
Manage their implementation with the customer organisation, with SCJ Commercial Marketing team and with the outsources sales team
Drive customers turnover, distribution and market share
Manage the budgets to deliver the targeted customers profitability
Supervise the resolution of the logistics issues (service rate, penalties, returns).
Develop networking within his customers organisation in order to identify and activate new business opportunities
Contribute to the national Commercial Policy and to the Corplan
Provide regular reporting on his activities and his customers, and shares his learnings/recommendations with other functions (Marketing, Field, Logistics)
Provide inputs for sales forecast for his customer making sure to deliver forecasted sales numbers
REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
Degree level education or equivalent
Solid Commercial background with at least 4 to 5 years in Commercial experience (primarily sales and customer marketing)
Fluent in English and Dutch
