About the role

The Sr. Analyst, Supply Planning, In-house operations, has responsibility for Inventory, Replenishment and Production planning of a portfolio of Finished Goods products.

This is a Regional role that covers multiple European Countries and includes two main areas:

(1) as an Inventory & Replenishment Planner, the Sr. Analyst defines, maintains, and monitors stock levels at our network of distribution centers, to achieve an inventory position in line with target service levels and capital investment.

(2) as a Site Master Planner, the Sr. Analyst matches production requirements with available resources at factories, such as lines capacity, materials, business rules, to create a viable production plan.

Responsibilities:

  • manage in autonomy a portfolio of products with relevant market impact (volume, profit), dealing with uncertainty and finding solutions to maximize outcome to our customers.
  • define, maintain, and monitor stock levels at our European network of distribution centers, ensuring inventory position is in line with target service levels and working capital investment.
  • create the master production schedule for their portfolio, matching production requirements with available resources, including factory capacity, materials, business rules.
  • participate in monthly S&OP Supply Review, assessing long term capacity load and proposing scenarios to address trade-offs.
  • participate in weekly S&OE process, communicating with local Supply Chain counterparts to achieve the best service result to final customers.
  • leverage on software tools (ERP, APS, Analytics) to maintain an accurate and timely flow of information throughout the supply network.
  • maintain SAP material master data, defining parameters which deliver production and distribution plans in line with defined strategies.
  • support Product Change Management initiatives (i.e. new launches, restages) to meet project milestones while minimizing waste and losses.
  • perform long range supply assessments and supply chain modeling for ad-hoc projects (e.g. make or buy)

Experience you’ll bring:

  • experienced supply chain professional with a minimum of 3 years’ experience, ideally in Planning
  • analytical skills, passion for problem solving with a hands-on approach.
  • bachelor’s degree or greater, preferably in an engineering or a supply chain discipline.
  • experience as project manager/initiative lead/coordinator will be a competitive advantage.
  • interest in Supply Chain planning software and tools, ideally with experience on SAP (PP, MM), APO, Tableau.
  • proficiency in MS Excel, including data analysis features (Pivot, VLOOKUP’s, etc.)
  • besides English, additional European languages, including fluent Italian, will be a plus.
  • knowledge of FMCG environment.
  • APICS/Lean certifications.

Behaviors you’ll need:

  • ability to retrieve and process multiple sources of information to produce actionable, structured, proposals.
  • ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders across multiple European locations, including remote production Sites and Commercial subsidiaries.
  • strong organizational skills, as well as the ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities with competing demands.
  • fluent in speaking, writing, and reading English.
