- Develop and manage the execution of integrated marketing campaigns (including in-store, PR, media, and experiential) leading multiple agency partners, to deliver the Insights to Impact strategy and translate unmet consumer needs into winning opportunities
- Become the Canadian “voice” for all brand communication, working with CIBA and MIMs to leverage local consumer and shopper insights to optimize media impact and support dollar efficiency.
- Own the commercialization of new products / line extensions, leading integration with other cross-functional departments (such as RD&E, Sales, NA Innovation, etc.) and resolving brand conflicts to ensure timely delivery.
- Key member of the cross-functional business team supporting multiyear strategic plan development to enhance brand equity by immersing in consumer problems to solve and brand foundation
- Provide in-depth information analysis to uncover insights & actions to drive business performance, including completing consumption analysis (competitive reviews, analysis of new product launches, program evaluation, etc.), reviewing shipment analysis (customer performance, regional trends, weekly tracking), and contributing to Step 1 of the monthly Sales and Operations Planning process
- Partner with Customer Marketing on the development of trade narratives, omni channel marketing plans, and contribute to the semi-annual Release to Sales business plan, linked to corporate objectives, brand strategies and customer opportunities.
- Shared accountability for P&L targets on Net Sales, Operating Profit, and A&P spend, along with national market shares
- Assist in varied departmental/corporate activities such as recruiting, as well as corporate functions where applicable
- Advance SCJ’s sustainability initiatives through embedding purpose into our brands DNA
Required Skills and Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree essential requirement (Business or Marketing major or minor highly preferred)
- 4 years’ experience in Consumer Packaged Goods marketing or sales experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Strong oral and written presentation skills
- Ability to lead teams and move projects forward
- Strategic thinking and fact-based problem-solving skills
- Ability to go beyond reporting data to linking data with solid business conclusions, solutions or recommendations
