AR/Credit & Collections Analyst – Pricing Maintenance - EU Language

Summary

In this role, you will be part of the Pricing team, responsible for managing the invoice pricing for all of SC Johnson’s customers across EMEA region.

As well as this you will ensure the SCJ invoices to trade customers are issued correctly by setting up prices in SAP in a timely manner (base price and promotions). You'll also monitor price discrepancies on orders and fix them, with sales inputs prior invoicing. In addition, with the support of Resolutions team, you will establish the root causes of price discrepancies and work closely with commercial stakeholders to eliminate these.

We are open on experience so if you have some junior finance experience or have studied accounting or finance and want to start your career in this field, as well having fluency in a European language, we would be interested in talking to you.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure pricing requests (base price & promotions) received by commercial/finance stakeholders in the markets are updated promptly and accurately in SAP and applied to orders.
  • V.25 price discrepancies process: Monitor on daily basis the price discrepancies on orders via V.25 process and fix them with commercial inputs before orders are invoiced. Analyze price discrepancies and identify the root causes and address them with commercial stakeholders.
  • Work closely with the Manager to monitor and analyze the level of invoice price accuracy by market and customer (“invoice price defect rate”). Identify and address the root causes for defects in invoice pricing, in collaboration with commercial stakeholders and Resolutions team.
  • Build strong cross-functional collaboration with SSC Resolutions team and with SSC Virtual Associate Managers.
  • Timely escalation and resolution of disputes.
  • Drive continuous improvement of process and automation initiatives.
  • Ensure the compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley control requirements for pricing processes.
  • Support external and internal audit requests when required

Experience you'll bring

  • Must be fluent in spoken & written English and another European language ideally Czech, Slovak, Hungarian, French or Italian.
  • Strong numeracy & analytical skills
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Office tools such as Excel
  • Previous experience in pricing, invoicing or a junior finance roles is an advantage
