Associate Manager,Sales Account Management

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in identifying market opportunities, managing distributors and ensuring the successful execution of sales plans. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to deliver the sell-in and sell-out target within Gross-to-Net budget allocated.

  • Joint Business Planning (JBP) with Distributor and Key-Customer for short- and long-term business growth and profitability.

  • Lead the Indirect Team to achieve JBP KPIs on Total Cases, Top-customer target, Must Have SKU(MHSKU) and distribution

  • Managing and coaching distributor’s team on in-store execution, route plans and product knowledge.

  • To dominate the best in-class in-store and achieve the perfect store execution by improving the product assortment, increase share of shelf, Planogram compliance and maximizing the usage of Point of Sales Materials (POSM)

  • To gain market share and win competition in the market.

  • Work closely with customer marketing team to develop the customer plans to drive category growth

  • Optimizing the trade spend management via sales promotion planning.

  • To coordinate with sales operation team for sales bottom-up forecast accuracy.

  • Responsible to deliver business strategies in alignment with company key priorities

  • Responsible to review the trading term with key-customer for category development plans

  • Improve customer profit margin via brand mix selling

  • Accountable for on-time payment collection and trade spend settlements

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree

  • At least 5 years working experience in distributor management and key-account management, preferable in Fast-Moving Consumer Good (FMCG) Industry

  • Knowledge of Distributor Management Systems (DMS) will be an added advantage

  • Fluent level in Bahasa Melayu and English

  • Strategic thinking with strong analytical and negotiation skills, and good presentation skill.

  • Must be proficient in MS Office (MS Excel & MS PowerPoint)

  • Must possess valid driving license, own transport and willing to travel.
