ABOUT THE ROLE

The Associate Manager, Customer Supply Chain will deliver a cost-effective supply chain for SC Johnson that best delivers key metrics with our customers.  The role partners closely with both the commercial team and cross-functional supply chain to deliver metrics that include case fill, OTIF (on-time, in-full), event execution, reverse logistics, bracket pricing compliance, cost savings, and financial deduction management.  The role will also lead strategic initiatives and collaboration both internally and externally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish applicable scorecards internally/externally to address opportunities and course correction

  • Develop and communicate analytics to support supply chain improvements and effectiveness

  • Partner to execute against strategic opportunities and deliver Advantage Survey results

  • Identify ways to create flexible supply chain options/tools and resources that enable sales growth

  • Main point of contact for all supply chain activities between sales, the customer, and SCJ supply chain

  • Manage and improve strategic vendor status with Target Corporation

  • Optimize inventories to maximize store in stock and DC days of supply while remaining under inventory dollar goals

  • Forecast item needs to minimize cuts utilizing sales history and current inventories

  • Key Metric responsibilities include:

    • OTIF

    • Promotional event execution

    • Bracket pricing

    • Cost savings

    • Deductions management

    • Item setup accuracy

    • Customer DC and Store inventories

    • Store in stock and DC service level

    • Reverse logistics

    • Advantage survey results

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

  • University Degree and 5+ years of relevant experience or advanced degree and 3+ years relevant experience

  • Military experience considered in lieu of education requirement

  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Prior experience working in the CPG or Retail industry

  • Proficient computer skills in MS Office Suite, intermediate in Excel, Tableau, SAP, and ability to learn and utilize customer systems and data

  • Prior customer facing experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills at all levels of an organization

  • Proactive, decisional, goal and results oriented

  • An assertive yet collaborative and team-oriented leadership style with a sense of urgency

  • Skilled in problem solving, plan development and priority setting

  • Willingness to take a position and to persevere in the face of challenge

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Full-time office environment

  • Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees
