ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly skilled Identity and Associate Manager, Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive, hands-on experience in several of the following: directory services, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, role-based access control for cloud and non-cloud access management, multi-factor authentication (MFA), privileged access management, public key infrastructure (PKI), identity governance and administration (IGA), and single-sign on (SSO) solutions. The primary responsibility of this role will be to build and implement IAM solutions while partnering extensively in the architecture and solution design and then ensuring a solid transition of the solution to the operations team.
This is an onsite role in Racine, WI.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directory Services Management: Build and improve upon directory services, including LDAP, Active Directory, and Microsoft Entra ensuring optimal performance, security and evolving business requirements.
Active Directory/Entra Administration: Continuously improve solutions for Active Directory infrastructure, including user account management, group policies, domain services and application registration.
Identity Governance and Administration (IGA): Build and implement IGA functionality to advance operational efficiency and improve user end user experience for IAM operations.
Identity Security: Build and improve upon identity security solutions such as MFA, passwordless capabilities and identity protection solutions.
Single Sign-On (SSO) Solutions: Design, implement, and support SSO solutions to streamline user authentication and access across multiple systems.
Privileged Access Management: Build privileged access management (PAM) solutions to secure sensitive accounts and credentials.
Security Best Practices: Ensure compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements in all IAM processes and solutions.
Troubleshooting and Support: Provide expert troubleshooting and support for IAM-related issues as a level 4 support resource, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption.
Documentation and Training: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and operational procedures. Conduct training sessions for internal teams to ensure knowledge transfer and adherence to best practices.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including IT, security, and business teams, to understand requirements and deliver effective IAM solutions.
Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest IAM trends and technologies, and continuously seek opportunities to improve IAM processes and solutions.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent education.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in IAM engineering, architecture or implementation.
3-5 years of experience and the ability to demonstrate experience in IAM concepts, principles, and technologies, such as directory services, identity lifecycle management, single sign-on (SSO), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and role-based access control (RBAC) and secure business practices.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS:
Experience working with authentication and authorization standards and protocols (OpenID Connect, SCIM, OAuth, SAML, AD/LDAP, Federation, SSO).
Proven track record designing, building and or operating complex Access Models by making informed decisions using deep understanding of industry standards such as RBAC/ABAC/PBAC etc.
Experience running services on top of a Cloud computing platform (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP)
Deep experience with cloud-based IGA/IAM solutions.
Experience with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell).
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Certifications in IAM, such as Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) or similar Microsoft certifications for IAM are a plus.

Position may require limited travel within North America (may include overnight)
This position is not eligible for domestic relocation
