Summary
As the Associate Manager of Media Analytics, you will be responsible for the development of data driven tools and services to aid in decision making and drive incremental value to SCJ. This role will interact frequently with senior stakeholders, requiring strategic capabilities, strong leadership, project management skills, influencing/communication skills, and exceptional collaboration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Build Real-Time Media measurement capabilities through our Marketing Data Hub that help SCJ and agency partners optimize Media investments across channels
- Leading and supporting our efforts to pre-test marketing creative and operations against platform and brand guidelines to maximize effectiveness
- Lead the ongoing development of the SCJ approach for measuring retail media performance
- Evaluate impact of various marketing inputs to determine predictability of KPIs and measures
- Work closely with regional marketing analytics resources to understand insight gaps and opportunities
- Perform advanced data analysis to develop meta-learnings/best practices to apply to future Marketing campaigns
- Ongoing assessment of digital marketing analytics trends – execute test & learn projects to continuously advance our measurement capabilities
- Provide information and insights for leadership meetings and embed analytics tools directly into key business processes
- Identify and evaluate emerging vendors, tools, technology and tactics for appropriateness and opportunities for SC Johnson brands to drive business goals
- Evaluate and manage external resources in execution of projects, including agencies, developers, and other third-party partners. Partner with Procurement on the agency and third-party vendor negotiations
Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:
- Advanced Degree
- Experience with personalization deployment and audience measurements
- Experience working with an integrated and centralized set of marketing performance measures to drive insights and strategic opportunity identification
- Experience with a wide variety of solutions that provide various insight into the performance of media (e.g. Creative Pre-testing, A/B testing, Marketing Mix Modelling, Behavioral Science, Voice of the Consumer, Sales Lift, Brand Equity Tracking, Web Analytics, etc.)
- Experience leading & teaching Marketing Mix Analysis techniques
- Experience driving a multi-faceted, data driven learning agenda to optimize media investment
- Experience/exposure to CPG industry
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis techniques and tools (Alteryx), data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Strong analytic, problem-solving skills, sound judgment and financial acumen
- Ability to work effectively with cross functional and/or cross-agency teams and directly with executive levels
- Demonstrated project team leadership and development
- Proven track record of impacting business results
- Demonstrated skills in managing complexity, providing strategic insight and executional excellence
- Proactive self-starter
- Strong project management leadership skills
