­­­­­­­­­­As an Associate, Total Rewards at SC Johnson you will provide support to the Total Rewards function reporting to the Total Rewards Delivery Associate Manager. 
You will perform inquiry management/resolution, transaction processing, program execution and general customer service. 

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Process HR transactions in Workday and other HR technologies, as required.

  • Support internal equity and external market competitiveness reviews of programs to ensure that SCJ is attracting and retaining top talent.

  • Provide basic technical assistance to HR stakeholders in regards to all total rewards programs.

  • Work to meet expected service levels and business performance goals.

  • Participate in the communication and implementation of various components of the company's pay and rewards program.

  • Resolve HR processes and policy questions related to Compensation, Benefits, Retirement, Mobility, Vendor Management.

  • Ensure consistent application of HR policies and state, federal, and/or country laws and practices.

  • Provide input to the SC Johnson HR Delivery Center knowledgebase and contribute ideas to improve processes or performance.

  • Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve HR functional knowledge and business acumen.

  • Support colleague engagement and cultural programs and initiatives.

  • Perform special projects and related duties, as assigned.

  • Support change programs and initiatives.

  • Escalate client service issues to appropriate party as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum high school diploma; Bachelor’s degree student.

  • 1+ year of experience in HR, Shared Service Organizations, and/or related fields (desirable).

  • Intermediate English level.

  • Intermediate Portuguese level (desirable).

  • Knowledge of HR functions, processes, and operations, including talent, data administration, payroll or compensation/benefits administration preferred.

  • Ability to accurately collect information and ask probing questions to understand and assess the colleagues’ needs and situation.

  • Ability to prioritize workload and provide timely follow-up and resolution.

  • Ability to handle sensitive situations and maintain a high level of confidentiality

  • Good analytical skills as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and operate efficiently under continuous change

  • Strong communications skills and customer service orientation

  • Skilled in conducting research and using existing knowledge to resolve inquiries.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, self-directed team-based environment subject to changing priorities and short deadlines.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Possesses problem solving skills.

  • Skilled in developing professional relationships with colleagues, supervisors, and peers.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel) and ideally having worked with multiple technologies (e.g. HRIS System, Workday, SAP)
