SC JOHNSON USA — Bay City, Michigan

The SC Johnson facility in Bay City, Michigan is a central hub for our Home Storage business, producing billions of Ziploc® bags annually. Spanning more than 400 acres, it includes six production plants that support both home storage and home cleaning operations. For more than 50 years, the facility has been a part of the local community and has been associated with the SC Johnson brand for more than 25 years.

MEET THE TEAM

At this site, approximately 400 team members from diverse backgrounds work in Manufacturing, Maintenance, Global Engineering, and Research & Development (RD&E). We foster a collaborative work environment with numerous employee-driven safety programs and an environmental club promoting sustainability.

FACILITY FEATURES

There are dozens of production lines across nearly 500 acres of the Bay City facility. You’ll find a collaborative team with many employee-driven safety programs and a Conservation Club which organizes opportunities for hunting enthusiasts during season. Our Activities Club also provides opportunities for employees to get involved with events such as a golf outing and offering discounted tickets to Michigan professional sports events.
