SUSTAINABLE FACILITIES
As part of SC Johnson's efforts to lessen our environmental footprint, our operations around the world use creative solutions to minimize waste, like collecting and reusing wastewater, diverting paper and plastic waste for recycling, or blending production waste with onsite biomass to heat water for production. Four of our manufacturing sites run on 100 percent wind energy, and since 2019, all global consumer brands business unit factories send zero manufacturing waste to landfill, and other facilities are working toward that goal.

NORTH AMERICA MANUFACTURING
In North America, our manufacturing facilities are located in Racine, Wisconsin and Bay City, Michigan in the United States, as well as Brantford, Ontario and Varennes, Quebec in Canada.
RACINE, WISCONSIN | USA
Waxdale, SC Johnson's largest manufacturing facility, is home to approximately 850 team members who produce millions of cases of product per year. The facility was opened in 1955 and today covers 2.2 million square feet. High-speed, high-volume liquid and aerosol products are made at Waxdale including trusted brands such as Glade®, OFF!®, Windex®, Raid®, Scrubbing Bubbles®, Pledge®, Shout®, Drano® and method®.

BAY CITY, MICHIGAN | USA
The Bay City, Michigan facility is home to approximately 350 employees who produce billions of Ziploc® bags per year on dozens of products lines across nearly 500 acres. The recently expanded facility runs on 100 percent wind energy and is carbon neutral.

BRANTFORD, ONTARIO | CA
In Brantford, Canada, approximately 250 team members support various functions of the business, including Manufacturing. Air Care products for our Glade® brand, as well as some soaps are made here for North American and Latin American markets.

The facility in Varennes, Canada, is a highly automated plant that makes Ziploc® bags for North American markets. Team members here appreciate the clean, safe environment and enjoy a comfortable, air-conditioned space.

ASIA-PACIFIC MANUFACTURING
In the Asia-Pacific region, our manufacturing facilities are located in Indonesia, China and Vietnam.
Jakarta, Indonesia
At our two Indonesia plants in East Jakarta and Surabaya, around 700 team members support manufacturing of products for Indonesia and global markets.

SHANGHAI, CHINA
At the Shanghai, China facility, you'll find more than 600 team members supporting a wide range of functions. SCJ Shanghai is one of the company’s key international manufacturing centers and exports to more than 40 countries.

CHANGZHOU, CHINA
In Changzhou, China, 180 team members support Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Finance and Human Resources. Air Care and Home Cleaning products are made here for the Chinese Market and exported to five countries worldwide.

BINH DUONG, VIETNAM
The manufacturing facility in Bình Dương, Vietnam is home to around 100 team members who are responsible for production efforts and support functions.
LATIN AMERICA MANUFACTURING
In Latin America, our manufacturing facilities are located in Argentina, Mexico, Brazil and Venezuela.
PILAR, ARGENTINA
The Pilar, Argentina manufacturing facility is LEED certified and receives 20 percent of the plant's power from an on-site solar panel farm. The facility manufactures aerosol, liquid, and gel products. Adjacent to the plant is the distribution center where our pest control, air care, cleaners and disinfection categories are produced.

TOLUCA, MEXICO
In Toluca, Mexico, products for Mexico, Latin America and North America are made. Millions of Ziploc® bags, FamilyGuard® disinfection products, cleaning products for homes, insecticides and repellants which help combat the spread of diseases such as Zika and Dengue are produced here.

MANAUS, BRAZIL
The SC Johnson plant in Manaus, Brazil has been operating since 2008. At the facility, there are 300 team members across teams including Manufacturing. Three million products are created each month for brands such as Glade®, Lysoform®, Raid®, OFF®, Duck®, Exposis® and Baygon®.

MARACAY, VENEZUELA
At our facility in Maracay, Venezuela, around 50 team members support manufacturing of products for within the country.
EUROPE, MIDDLE EAST & AFRICA
Across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, SCJ operates eight manufacturing facilities. Learn more about key operations in the Netherlands, Poland, Egypt and South Africa below. In addition, we also have plants in Nigeria, Kenya, Saudi Arabia and Ukraine.
MIJDRECHT, NETHERLANDS
SCJ Europlant, our facility in the Netherlands, is home to almost 300 colleagues and 11 production lines. The site produces iconic products of Duck®, Mr. Muscle®, OFF!®, Raid®, Oust®, Pledge® and Glade®. Europlant is well known for it's iconic "boomerang" shape and windmill that produces 50 percent of the energy used in the factory.

At the Gorzow facility, more than 300 team members support the manufacturing of Air Care and Home Cleaning products at the recently expanded site.

CAIRO, EGYPT
In Cairo, Egypt, our team of more than 100 supports Manufacturing as well as many commercial functions. Air Care and Home Cleaning products for Glade® and Pledge® are made at the facility.

ROSSLYN, SOUTH AFRICA
At our South Africa facility, you'll find 130 team members supporting various functions including Manufacturing. The team makes products for Shoe Care, Home Cleaning and Air Care such as KIWI®, Mr Muscle® and Glade®.
