Associate Brand Manager, Marketing Commercialization - Home Storage

This Associate Brand Manager is on SCJ’s North America Marketing Commercialization Home Storage Team and reports to the Director of US Marketing Commercialization Home Storage. This candidate is responsible for leading the Freezer and Storage segments, assisting with base Ziploc media planning, and is accountable for translating global strategies into locally relevant segment go-to-market plans including new product launches. This candidate will also lead critical strategic projects for the pinch and seal portfolio including a full portfolio re-stage beginning FY24.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead key processes for the Freezer and Storage including, but not limited to S&OP segment leadership and share review/forecasting, providing insights and actions to address problems to solve monthly, enroute to delivering key financial and share metrics
  • Collaborate with Global teams to influence long term Freezer and Storage segment strategies and ensure needs of US market are reflected to deliver long term pipeline of growth
  • Lead and manage all packaging/graphics updates related to Freezer/Storage segments
  • Assist in base Ziploc media planning, including FY24 local activation brief and integrated blueprint development
  • Develop, deliver go to market strategy for any/all upcoming freezer/storage product innovations planned through FY25.
  • Business lead for Ziploc Kosher certification liaison
  • Support customer marketing in developing customer-specific activations and sell in materials for key initiatives

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5+ years of relevant business experience OR advanced degree and a minimum of 3+ years of relevant business experience
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Prior experience in CPG industry
  • Very strong analytical skills
  • Familiarity with CPG data sources (e.g. Nielsen)
  • Cross-functional team leadership
  • Ability to build strong working relationships
  • Passion for innovation
  • High sense of urgency
  • Proven project leadership capability and propensity to grow within brand management and other commercial roles (including sales, customer marketing, and shopper marketing roles)

Job Requirements:
