Associate Manager, Enterprise Architect

As the Associate Manger, Enterprise Architecture, you will be a part of the global Enterprise Architecture (EA) team to drive SC Johnson’s (SCJ) digital journey. As a member of the EA team, you will focus on Architecture Governance by supporting teams, processes and platforms that govern technology at SCJ and ensure the integrity and effectiveness of the SCJ’s architectures. You will lead and implement best practices related to Architecture Governance to support strategic enterprise initiatives related to application transformation, technology modernization and data products.

The internal job title for this role is Associate Manager, Business Process & Technology (BPT) Architecture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute architecture governance processes which include Architecture Review Board, Software Review Board, Design Assurance Reviews
• Collaborate with the extended architecture organization to design and develop cross-functional enterprise level conceptual designs and architecture design artifacts
• Collaborate with Lead Technical Domain architects includes the applications, data, infrastructure, and security to define, publish and maintain technology standards and reference architectures
• Maintain and enhance the enterprise architecture repository with a focus on discoverability and usability of architectural artifacts
• Create and support system integrations between the EA platform (iServer365) and other systems of record for technology components and automate the discovery and maintenance of technology components in the EA platform
• Collect and report architecture governance metrics to ensure compliance with architecture processes and technology standards
• Continuously improve processes and platforms related to Architecture Governance

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS) or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in hands on development and deployment of technology, with 3 years of experience in architecting enterprise scale solutions
• Experience in designing solutions on Microsoft Azure, Azure certification is a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform components (Power Apps, Power Automate and Power BI)
