PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

Senior Associate – Category & Trade Solutions, will be responsible for category management programs definition and monitoring the execution of the field sales team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage Cat-Man programs and implementation.
  • Act as Customer Advisory following company priorities.
  • Completes periodic category analysis on assortment and recommends areas of improvement.
  • Ensuring the in-store excellence execution, from assortment & position on shelf to promotion.
  • Supports the Sales Team in the development and execution of business plans.
  • Runs monthly updates of the Nielsen database to update customers externally and the Sales department internally.
  • Manage planograms & merchandising activities.
  • Budget management: control, execution and follow up with Finance team of the assigned budget.
  • Management of internal data to detect opportunities and provide visibility at all organizational levels.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE & COMPETENCIES:

  • Degree level education or equivalent, emphasis on Sales & Marketing.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Experience in Category Management / Trade Marketing and or Field Sales.
  • Working experience in a major FMCG company
  • Strong communication and team worker, able to build relationships at all levels and both internal (different teams) and external (customers/partners) in an ambiguous environment.
  • Strong analytical skills & ability to prioritize.
  • Ability to drive for results with high degree of initiative, autonomy, and speed.
  • Previous experience using market data/panels e.g. Nielsen.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Mandatory).
  • Spaceman management is a plus.
