Associate Manager, Microsoft 365 Engineer

ABOUT YOUR ROLE

The Microsoft 365 Engineeris an End User Productivity (EUP) team member. This position is responsible for delivering services related to productivity and collaboration solutions focused on, but not limited to, the Office 365 platform.The appointee will interact with our Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to deliver solutions to our users that promote ease of use and productivity while ensuring adherence to security requirements. The incumbent will also interact with many departments within SCJ to understand requirements and deliver business value. This position includes management of the related EUP projects, platforms, and day-to-day level 3 support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide engineering and timely support that delivers a stable, secure, global platform following internal methodologies, processes, and standards.
• Provides 3rd-level operational support for platforms.
• Working with end users to define custom requirements and translate them into a working solution in our SharePoint environment, and eventually deliver on requirements and designs
• Management of vendor relationships, including, but not limited to:
  • Overseeing project implementations
  • Managing/tracking project budgets
  • Software licensing, service monitoring, and new services.
• Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders on solution development that will drive technical change.
• Actively manage and implement continuous improvement plans for services within the portfolio
• Champion the resolution of technically significant issues affecting the platform through personal ownership

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING

• Bachelor’s degree in Information systems, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience with a global enterprise-level service
• Experience with Office 365 management and administration​

PREFERRED SKILLS

• SharePoint Development experience
• Experienced Working with Managed Service Providers
• Excellent communication skills
• Microsoft certifications
• Ability to work with and support a globally dispersed team
• Experience working on an enterprise-level projects

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Full-time, permanent employment
• Onsite work setup; remote work once a week is available upon regularization
• Off-hours support and a flexible schedule to accommodate a global team will be required
• This role is not eligible for relocation
