Manager, IT Digital Strategy & Transformation - Marketing Tech

As the Digital Strategy & Transformation Manager you will drive the creation and execution of the digital marketing roadmap & capabilities, developing and supporting end-to-end digital solutions that solve unmet needs and generate value through a fully integrated digital ecosystem. You will help transform underlying business processes, build sustainable support models, drive end user adoption, and deliver business value. In this dynamic position you will be reporting to the Director, Digital Strategy & Transformation, Global Sales & Marketing

We will look to you to demonstrate strong experience with Marketing and e-Commerce technologies, end to end thinking, digital acumen and ensure proper linkages to the digital strategies of business units (Global Consumer Brands, Lifestyle Brands, Professional Brands), regional, market, and partner (Customer/Omni Marketing, e-Commerce, and Sales) functions. This role is on-site at our corporate headquarters in Racine, Wis.


You will also work to deeply understand user experience/needs and expected business value, defining digital solution roadmaps that unlock efficiency and drive progress against defined key performance indicators (KPIs). You will partner with internal and external technical development teams, technical services teams, and business stakeholders. You will define, develop, and orchestrate standard processes and “best in class” tools / systems that expedite business decisions, enable intelligent process automation/workflow resulting in the best consumer experience to increase brand love/loyalty and sales.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop end to end digital capabilities in partnership with capability owners and functional leaders

  • Clearly define and document the vision and roadmap of digital products / solutions, including business case and expected value

  • Champion and be an integral part of our Better Work-Better World’s digital journey, shaping digital capability roadmaps to accelerate business outcomes, in partnership with the business unit, regional and functional stakeholders

  • Serves as the business relationship linkage between the functional leaders and BPT/IT. Establish strong alignment between partner functions, from BPT and from the functional stakeholders

  • Provides highly valued strategic consulting level support and guidance to functional stakeholders and BPT internal partners

  • Provide regular, timely, transparent communication on progress against digital product / solutions and capability roadmaps to both internal BPT and functional stakeholders

  • Drive harmonization and standardization of our data, reporting and analytics solutions to unlock efficiency and enable relevant business insights

  • Ensure critical business solutions are supported and constantly improved to address changing business needs and transform and mature our business

  • Support optimization digital portfolio to minimize duplicate efforts, optimize costs and resources and maximize benefits while maturing digital capabilities

  • Foster a high-performing, diverse and inclusive team culture where different viewpoints are visibly encouraged and supported

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Marketing, Business Administration, or relevant/related field or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 10+ years of progressive Marketing Technology experience in consulting and other IT roles; prior relationship management or relative account executive experience

  • 7+ years of experience managing complex IT personnel, projects or initiatives and/or IT departments

  • 5 + years of demonstrated business acumen and knowledge of Marketing Brand Management, Media and Integrated Marketing, Marketing Commercialization, Digital Marketing, Customer Relationship Management CRC, Customer Marketing, Consumer Insights and Brand Analytics, e-Commerce (DTC) and Sales processes

  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience working with operational business processes within Marketing and Commerce functions with Agency and vendor partnerships

  • 5 + year of demonstrated experience and ability to communicate and collaborate with senior executives and marketing leaders

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., CMS Sitecore, Content Hub Sitecore, Graphics Management Esko WebCenter, PIM Riversand/Salsify, Big Commerce, Salesforce, Google Analytics)

  • Compliance awareness and knowledge of PCI, PII, GDPR/CCPA/CPRA, ADA, and implications thereof

  • Outstanding stakeholder management experience, superior influencing, and collaboration skills are required

  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns

  • Thought leadership with an agile mindset experienced in shaping solutions, with strong written and verbal communication and partnership skills

  • Strong knowledge and experience in business process mapping and re-engineering

  • Experience gathering, analyzing, documenting, and validating the needs of the business stakeholders

  • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical team members

  • Must be comfortable with constructively challenging the status quo and looking for new ways to improve processes and results

  • Strong critical thinking, with outstanding analytical, influencing, and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in relevant Consumer Product Goods (CPG) industry

  • Experience being part of large, cross-functional projects & programs

  • Experience working in or with a complex global organization spanning multiple functions

  • Working knowledge of IT outsourcing models and governance including Cloud, Managed Services, Strategic Sourcing partnerships

  • Strong perspective, understanding, and sensitivity towards company business issues

  • Results-oriented leadership and facilitation capabilities

  • Creativity and flexibility in analytical skills to facilitate leveraging solutions for a win-win outcomes

  • Speed and responsiveness in the resolution of issues

  • Natural leadership ability and strong work ethic

  • Experience in developing business cases, cost/benefit analyses, ROIs and financial models

  • Strong relationship-building skills

  • Strong program/project management skills

Job Requirements:

  •  Full time

  • Remote work is available once per week for eligible employees

  • 10% travel
