As Senior Associate, Sustainability Data & Analyticsyou will play a key role in transforming Sustainability strategies into actionable goals and plans.  You will collaborate with the Sustainability Subject Matter Experts to identify data, analysis, and reporting needed to achieve corporate initiatives.  You will have opportunities to establish yourself as a strategic partner as you drive advancements in Sustainability analytical capabilities.  This role requires someone with strong business analysis skills with ability to connect technical information with business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Intake, categorize, and troubleshoot data/reporting issues identified by users at SCJ, entering BPT tickets for resolution as needed.
  • Assist in calculating enterprise level numbers based using BU inputs in cooperation with Sustainability SMEs.
  • Analyze and assess quality of data related to our corporate goals and objectives.
  • As BPT systems change, provide requirements, perform testing, and communicate impacts.
  • Assemble and analyze sustainability data for external reporting – pulling detail and ensuring quality
  • Enable Sustainability data, analysis, and reporting advancement: provide options, prototype solutions participate in projects, and handle ongoing maintenance
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert on Sustainability data and utilize Teradata SQL, Excel, and other tools to cleanse, integrate, and update data sets
  • Design report visualizations and analysis that clearly communicate the current situation and drive action to achieve sustainability goals
  • Collaborate with the Sustainability Subject Matter Experts and report users to specify and scope enhancements and projects
  • Process and categorize  user enhancement requests and feedback to existing reports/dashboards
  • Support Sustainability IT reporting projects throughout development, testing and release
  • Participate in the Sustainability Reporting Community of Practice meetings to encourage cross-BU sharing of ideas, best practices, and principles that support corporate initiatives

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Minimum 3 years of CPG Business Analysis experience in R&D, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or analytical discipline required
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Background in packaging, chemistry or sustainability
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel with experience creating dashboards/visualizations/presentations that summarize large quantities of data
  • Experience with systems such as SAP PLM, BW, Tableau and/or Teradata
  • Demonstrated complex data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as a productive member of a cross-functional team
  • Ability to understand and integrate technical information into business decisions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Experience with product data and specifications
  • Cross-functional experience, working with different functions, BUs, teams

Job Requirements:

  • Full time Monday-Friday Core Office hours
  • Business travel as necessary (< 5%)
  • Remote work is available once a week for eligible employees
